One of the biggest advantages in attending our small school is that you can choose from a variety of classes, activities, and functions that welcome you. Whether it is an athletic team, an academic team, an extracurricular activity, an Advanced Placement Course, or an elective course, your participation makes a difference. In fact, the sky is the limit when it comes to following your dreams and realizing your potential. If there is a class, an activity or a pursuit that you do no see at our school just now, chances are that your involvement can make that class, activity, or pursuit a reality. You take the responsibility for creating your corner of the world. Our students have been recognized state-wide, nationally, and internationally in the areas of music, literature, and sports. Most of our students receive acceptance to their first choice of college or university in part because they have developed a clear passion. They also have been awarded an amazing amount of scholarships and financial aid. As a recent alumnus commented, “WCDS prepared me well for college..
